LWM SELECTED AS ONE OF THE TOP 300 WEALTH MANAGERS IN THE NATION
Peter H. Langer, CFP of Langer Wealth Management, LLC in Wilmington, NC recently was selected as one of the nation’s top 300 wealth managers by Bloomberg Wealth Manager magazine (July 2005 issue). This is the fourth year in a row that Mr. Langer has been ranked as one of the nation’s top wealth managers. Langer Wealth Management, LLC was ranked number one in North Carolina and 32nd nationally based on average assets per employee. Mr. Langer has also been named "One of the 150 best financial advisers for doctors" by Medical Economics Magazine three times in a row.
According to Bloomberg, independent advisers who integrated a variety of client services, offered alternative investments, and were willing to do lots of handholding finished at the top of the list. Bloomberg’s ranking was based on the asset value of the average client relationship. To qualify for the ranking, firms had to meet the following criteria: 1) minimum assets under advisement of $50 million; 2) registration with the SEC as a registered investment adviser; 3) comprehensive financial planning services offered in-house; and 4) more than 50 percent of the client base must consist of high-net worth individuals, as defined by the SEC.
